Ronnie Parsons and Carmelo "Judge" Langford are two best friends who work together for the Avalon Falls Police Department. Due to personal problems, however, Judge must undertake two jobs at once, much to his dismay. Because of this, he begins forgetting about get-togethers and parties he was invited to, constantly being reminded about them by Ronnie. On his way to his second job after a party, Judge, working at a government building, encounters two heavily-armed men who broke in earlier. They leave without them knowing Judge was ever there, but whatever they were after might prove key in something that may strike closer than imagined. Is it simply being at the right place at the right time... or vice versa?
